The heart-world of the mighty Hardestann Empire, a Kingdom that spans the Isles, has discovered its ninth and most auspicious Isle yet- Asylum.
It is an idyllic garden of peace and tranquility. Reports from the First Team are most positive about the potential resources to be found on Asylum. Join the explorers and colonists who will soon set out to make this new Isle their own.

The Isles is designed for the mature player who is looking for more comfort, more complexity of plot, and higher production values. Its a simple fact - most live action events fall short of the potential that could be achieved, and we at Asylum Productions are committed to turning that potential into reality.

The Isles campaign, conceived by Ford Ivey, is one of the most open-ended LARP campaigns currently running. While most LARP’s have a single ‘flavor’, i.e. medieval fantasy, gothic horror, techno, etc., The Isles is open to almost any ‘flavor’ you might seek. The first two events have seen everything from Elves, to Gypsies, to Pirates, to Old West Prospectors. The campaign has a detailed production system, which can be a players focus in and of itself if you do not care for combat roles. As far as combat goes, The Isles is run under the basic concepts of the Nteraction LARP system. All manner of standard ‘boffer’ weapons are allowed, assuming they pass a safety check, and there are allowances for archery and firearms.
The campaign has an extensive back history, which can be used to create your character backround. Or, with the approval of the Plot Team, submit your own concept for a race or character concept. There are almost no limits to the scope of The Isles.
We have 4 events planned for the coming year.
May 19-21, July 7-9, Sept 22-24, Nov 17-19
Event prices range from $65 to $85, and this price includes 3 meals.
Our events are held at Ye Olde Commons, in Charlton, MA.
